Why is
its-laS-tik
affiliated
with New Orleans?
After
Hurricane Katrina devastated parts of the city of New Orleans,
Susan knew that if presented with an opportunity, she would help
in any way possible.
As its-laS-tik
was transformed from dream to reality, it became clear that it
was her time to give back. Unlike so many others,
whatS
ur bag
remains
dedicated to their product being made in the USA, and what
better place than New Orleans? A city affected by an
environmental crisis, can now play a major part in eliminating
another.
whatS
ur bag
is committed to providing work to residents in New Orleans and
putting money back into a struggling and deserving economy.

its-laS-tik
bags are
made in New Orleans
Almost every
aspect of the product is outsourced to New Orleans natives;
The
bags are manufactured by a New Orleans native and survivor of
Hurricane Katrina. Not only did she rebuild her
home after the hurricane, but also a thriving manufacturing business.
The
material is sourced and the packaging and labels are created and
distributed by a business established in New Orleans in 1948.
The
visionary graphic artist and website designer,
Sheri'
Mora, is a native of the city.

partner with
Hope House in New Orleans
its-laS-tik

as rag rugs and other products, giving
